Sharing the Bubble
Does each of us live in a bubble?

Snuggling
deep in a safe place
protecting our joy..

Inside this bubble
do we have a dream
we would like to share?

Is it to be closer to someone?

Is it to love our selves more in someone else?

Possibly
we can find a way...

In Asia they believe the deepest sense of self
comes through your family

with roots going way back

through countless generations

and the reincarnated wisdom of ancestors

as little lamas.

I believe

something connects us all

beyond anyone's wildest dreams.

and the key
is very simple.
This winter
in Ha Noi

artists joined together

at the Maison des Arts

in a salon
painting portraits
which became a kind of listening project.

While staring
we began to find

surprising beauties

within
and our painting

led others

to find new beauty in themselves

and so, we found
coming out of our old shells

the world's our oyster!

Back home now
with thanks again
to Nga, who brought
the dream out, alive

love and hugs
